Dymond BondMaxx 127 is a 93% solids, high-build epoxy engineered to penetrate, strengthen, and protect concrete floors in demanding commercial and industrial environments. Designed for maximum adhesion and long-term durability, it forms a dense, glossy film that resists chemicals, abrasion, impacts, and heavy traffic.

This two-component epoxy bonds directly to properly prepared concrete and masonry and is ideal for creating a uniform, structural foundation for epoxy, urethane, and polyaspartic systems. Its high-build design helps fill micro-pitting, smooth out uneven slab profiles, and deliver an industrial-strength base layer.

1) PRODUCT STORAGE: Store material at normal room temperature before use. Continuous storage should be between 60°F and 90°F. Low temperatures or large temperature fluctuations may cause crystallization.

2) SURFACE PREPARATION: The most suitable surface preparation is a fine brush blast (shot blast) to remove all laitance and open the concrete. Remove all dirt, oils, contaminants, and loose material. Verify the slab is dry by taping down a 4' x 4' plastic sheet for 24 hours—if no moisture appears beneath, the floor is ready for coating.

3) PRODUCT MIXING: Mix ratio is 12 lbs Part A to 3.85 lbs Part B (standard colors). Kits are pre-measured and should be mixed in full. Mix thoroughly with slow-speed equipment (e.g., jiffy mixer) until uniform and streak-free. Transfer to a second pail (“transfer pail”) and mix again. Apply immediately after mixing. Improper mixing may result in failure.

4) PRIMING: This product functions as a high-solids primer suitable for most substrates. Extremely porous surfaces may require a lower-solids primer to reduce air release or outgassing.

5) PRODUCT APPLICATION: Apply using brush, roller, or serrated squeegee followed by back-rolling. Maintain proper temperature and humidity during application and cure. If over-mixing or concrete conditions cause air entrapment, use an air-release roller before tack-off. Thinner applications self-level less effectively than thicker builds.

6) RECOAT OR TOPCOATING: A topcoat is optional but recommended. Ensure the coating has tacked off before recoating. Check for epoxy blush (whitish/greasy film). If present, remove with detergent before topcoating. Compatible topcoats include epoxies, urethanes, polyaspartics, and additional coats of this product.

7) CLEANUP: Clean tools and spills using xylol.

8) FLOOR CLEANING: Some cleaners may affect color or gloss. Test in a small area before full use.

9) RESTRICTIONS: Restrict to light traffic and avoid harsh chemicals until fully cured. Keep floor dry for the full cure cycle. As with all coatings, surface may be slippery when wet or contaminated—maintain dryness and proper housekeeping.

This warranty applies to complete Dymond systems (primer, base coat, and topcoat) when installed on indoor concrete surfaces and applied according to Dymond’s preparation and application guidelines. Covered issues include delamination caused by faulty resin blends, curing failure due to batch defects, and contamination introduced during manufacturing or packaging. To qualify, the product must be within shelf life, used under proper storage conditions, and installed using only Dymond components.

This warranty does not extend to issues arising from improper surface preparation, substrate contamination, excessive moisture vapor, impact or abuse, substrate movement, or UV discoloration of white/light epoxies. Installations over wood, tile, or outdoor surfaces are excluded unless specifically approved. Cosmetic issues such as texture variation, microbubbling, or minor tint shift are not covered. Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Claims must be submitted with photographic evidence of each install stage and full batch documentation. Dymond reserves the right to determine whether the cause of failure falls within warranty scope.
